'The Babysitter' – Review

The Babysitter is Netflix’s new gory teen horror, starring the radiant Aussie actress Samara Weaving (you may or may not remember her from a stint in Home and Away before her big break), the young star Judah Lewis, Bella Thorne and Robbie Amell. The film is directed by McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) from Supernatural fame.

'The Meyerowitz Stories' – Review

After finding myself in a deep YouTube binge, I came across a video of Adam Sandler and Miley Cyrus singing on the Jimmy Fallon show. The performance by Sandler was understated and quite lovely to watch. The same however cannot be said for most of his movies over the last decade.

'The Snowman' – Review

It was a humid day in Melbourne and I was glad to get inside the cinema to watch the premiere of The Snowman, hoping the air-conditioning would be as freezing as the evocative visuals of director Tomas Alfredson. Particularly those stark, stunning shots of the wintery Norwegian snow-covered hills around Oslo and Bergen, as advertised in the film’s trailer.
