The iconic Seinfeld TV show has received a hilarious reimagining as a horror movie called The Nothing in this gem of a fan video.
The funny new video comes to us from Vimeo user Max Gold, who’s taken footage from episodes featuring some of the darker storylines of Seinfeld and mashed them together to make a trailer for a fictional horror film called The Nothing (a play on words about Seinfeld being a show about nothing).
It’s amazing to see just how many darker storylines were included throughout Seinfeld’s nine-season run and when they’re put together in a clever way per the video below, really do make for a convincing horror film.
The trailer is, of course, ludicrous, and an obvious labor of love for the creator, and any Seinfeld TV show fans will instantly appreciate and enjoy the effort behind it.
Non-fans and people just hearing about Seinfeld for the first time may also be intrigued enough to check it out after seeing this video, though the actual show is nothing like what’s depicted here.
Seinfeld was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld and ran from 1989 to 1998, and is arguably one of the greatest, if not the greatest comedy sitcoms of all time.
It’s still in syndication today, some twenty-two years after concluding, and is just as funny now as it was when it initially aired.
