Check out the first official trailer for the spy action/adventure film Kingsman: The Golden Circle directed by Matthew Vaughn.
The Golden Circle is the sequel to Vaughn’s popular film Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), a British spy film about a secret service agency taking on the promising street-kid Eggsy (Taron Egerton), as a new recruit in order to help stop a global threat.
Eggsy’s back in the sequel and he and his fellow Kingsmen, along with an allied American spy organisation join forces to face a common threat.
I wasn’t a big fan of the first Kingsman movie, though it did have some entertainment value, and much like most of Vaughn’s past work, it featured some cool action choreography and violence which is always good.
The trailer for the sequel doesn’t reveal much in the way of a plot, but does feature a look at what to expect from the action, and it all looks well thought out and highly stylised.
The Golden Circle features a great cast that includes Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.
It hits Australian cinemas on 28 September 2017, check out the first trailer below.
