Be warned: The gory new trailer for the Aussie horror film The Furies will probably put you off your food.
Eight women are hunted by eight masked killers in a fight for survival in the new horror film, The Furies.
An ode to gory 80s slasher films, Tony D’Aquino’s first feature looks to unsettle and terrify its horror-movie fan-base.
The film doesn’t look like it’ll bring anything new to the table as there have been plenty of these horrific survival movies that have come before it, though there is somewhat of a nice sci-fi twist to this one.
What audiences are really in for here is a high-calibre, unflinching gore-fest.
The production design looks great for a small-budget Aussie horror film, and the costume design, especially those vile masks the killers wear is truly mortifying.
The Furies will be featuring at Australia’s premier horror film festival, Monster Fest, with opening night screenings in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Sydney.
The festival will run from 11 – 13 October 2019 and will showcase a variety of twisted horror films.
It’s then set to release nationally on 7 November 2019 with advance screenings in time for Halloween on the 31 October 2019.
Check out the trailer below and don’t say I didn’t warn you.
