The second teaser for All Eyez on Me, the biographical film about slain rapper Tupac Shakur has been released, giving us a better look at what to expect.
One of the most famous rappers of all time finally gets his own biopic, and judging by the trailer it looks like this film has the potential to do his legacy justice.
This second trailer gives us a good look at the tone set in the film and it appears it will be pretty dramatic, and cover Tupac’s rise and fall in the rap business, as well the state of affairs outside that world.
It looks like Demetrius Shipp Jr. (who plays Tupac) has the right look and acting talent to play the enigmatic, but troubled rapper.
We’ll just need to see if director Benny Boom can put it altogether to make this a great film, as he’s relatively inexperienced when it comes to the directing game, especially when you consider he’s been tasked to make a movie about one of the most recognisable names in music history.
At this stage All Eyez on Me doesn’t have a release date, however IMDB still lists its progress as filming, so it seems that in the best case scenario, we should get this film some time in 2017.
