The Losers Club, now all adults, return to the town of Derry to confront their worst fear – the evil clown, Pennywise.
After the events of It (2017), the children that made up The Losers Club have all moved away from Derry and the dreadful memories of the pain they had to endure there.
It’s been 27 years since then and a phone call from their home town summons them back.
Pennywise has returned and this time they’ll be out to finish the evil clown off once and for all, but not before reliving some of their past nightmares.
Director Andy Muschietti is back helming this sequel to his 2017 smash hit.
The original child cast of the first film are back too, along with an all new adult cast that includes James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean.
Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as Pennywise the Clown and is looking as terrifying as ever.
This modern adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel of the same name has been handled exceptionally well, as it’s scary enough to be appealing to mainstream horror fans, while having its own particular style to make it stand out from the pack.
Chapter Two looks to keep that trend going and we should have another enjoyable horror hit on our hands.
Check it out in cinemas on 5 September 2019.
