The hype for the biggest movie of the year continues, with a brand new behind-the-scenes video, and new character posters for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The latest behind-the-scenes video features most of the cast and crew on location, talking about the making of the film and what fans can expect to see.
All of it is overlaid with some stunning visuals of the sets and locations featured in the film, as well as glimpses of some of the new creature designs.
And once again, it all looks fantastic.
2015’s The Force Awakens saw J.J. Abrams bring the Star Wars franchise back to screens in a big way, re-creating the universe for a modern audience, to massive critical and financial success.
Rian Johnson picks up where Abrams left off, and he, along with Disney’s production team appear to be building something special with The Last Jedi.
If you weren’t excited about this film before, you surely will be after seeing this latest video.
Six new character posters have also been released alongside the clip, which show the film’s main players all highlighted in red.
The choice of colour has been prominent through most of the marketing material for this film, and may possibly represent the danger and excitement coming to the film’s characters and audience.
From memory, I believe it’s the first time the colour red has been featured so heavily in a Star Wars film’s promotional material, and in the Star Wars universe, the colour classically represents the Sith and the Dark Side.
Maybe there’s a clue in there somewhere.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, and the late Carrie Fisher.
It’s due out in cinemas on 15 December 2017.
