The final Eternals trailer sees a unique group of godlike superheroes unite to take on a new world-ending threat.
Thousands of years old, the Eternals must come out of hiding to fight an ancient threat known as the Deviants and save humanity.
Eternals introduces Marvel movie fans to a new intergalactic superhero group featuring an all-star cast led by Gemma Chan and Richard Madden.
This final trailer reveals more plot details, including the alien race known as the Deviants, who appear to be the film’s main villains.
We also receive word about where the almighty Eternals were when Thanos wiped out half the planet in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019).
They were simply forbidden to interfere, presumably by whoever sent them there.
We also get a good look at all the main characters and many of the otherworldly beings that will feature in the film, and it all looks awe-inspiring.
The remaining cast members include Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
It’s a huge cast, which is par for the course these days for a Marvel movie, and while any other director might have their hands full with it, Academy Award winner Chloe Zhao should manage fine.
We’ll know for sure when the film releases on 4 November 2021.
