In case you missed them, here are some new trailers released over the past week for The Mummy, The House and War for the Planet of the Apes.
The Mummy – Trailer 3
The first film in Universal’s rebooted Monsters series of films The Mummy sees Tom Cruise battling an ancient mummy, played by Sofia Boutella. The third trailer promises plenty of action and horror, in what may very well be the surprise hit of the 2017 blockbuster season. Annabelle Wallis and Russell Crowe also star, and the film releases across cinemas on June 8 2017.
The House – Red Band Trailer 2
A husband and wife (the hilarious duo of Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) start an underground casino in order to raise money to pay for their daughter’s college tuition. It’s been two years since we last saw Will Ferrell in Daddy’s Home (2015), so it’s nice to see him in a new film this year. Even nicer is seeing Amy Poehler join him as she’s equally as funny. The House features a who’s who of comedy talent, and the new red band trailer below is hilarious. The film releases on 29 June 2017.
War for the Planet of the Apes – Final Trailer
The final trailer for the final film in the modern Apes series of films sees Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his fellow apes battle the humans for what will likely be the last time. The hugely popular series has produced two great films already, and judging by the trailers for this third film, we should be in for even more sci-fi greatness. It’ll be interesting to see Woody Harrelson’s portrayal of the film’s villain, as he looks like he’s on point from the footage we’ve seen so far. The film releases on 27 July 2017.
