An epic trailer has been released for the hotly anticipated 4-hour edition of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, coming soon to HBO Max.
Ever since Justice League (2017) released to poor reception from fans and critics alike, DC movie fans have been demanding a director’s cut of the film.
Finally, after years of hounding Warner Bros for it on social media, Zack Snyder announced a deal with HBO Max that would see him bring his original vision to the new streaming service.
And so, on 18 March 2021, fans will see their wish come true with the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which is set to run for a whopping 4 hours.
An epic trailer for the film recently released, featuring plenty of new footage that Snyder has re-inserted back into the film.
The film will introduce the villain Darkseid, a re-designed version of the 2017 film’s villain, Steppenwolf, and the return of Jared Leto as the Joker!
It’s not the same-looking joker we saw in 2016’s Suicide Squad, however, the Joker’s design more closely resembles that of Heath Ledger’s in The Dark Knight (2008).
Leto features briefly at the end of the trailer and has already received a lot of positive fanfare compared to his heavily criticized turn as the popular villain in Suicide Squad.
Snyder looks to redeem the property after the mess left behind following his departure from the original project, which then saw Joss Whedon take over.
