A new teaser trailer has been released for Danny Boyle’s T2: Trainspotting, the sequel to 1996’s Trainspotting, also by Boyle.
So firstly, not sure what’s up with that title, using the acronym T2 seems a bit ridiculous.
The teaser trailer shows virtually nothing as well, other than just to highlight the characters and announce that the film is on the way (guess that’s the point of a teaser).
The good news is, the original cast and director have returned.
Danny Boyle’s 1999 film Trainspotting was essentially a masterpiece.
It was based on the Irvine Welsh novel of the same name, and T2: Trainspotting will apparently be based on his sequel novel titled Porno, which follows the Trainspotting characters foray into the world of pornography.
I haven’t read the novel, but was a huge fan of the first film, so definitely looking forward to this one.
The film stars Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Ewen Bremner and is due for release around February 2017.
Check out the teaser below.
