The new agents featured in the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die look like a promising way forward for the franchise.
The new agents in question are Lashana Lynch’s Nomi and Ana de Armas’ Paloma, two new double-0’s that aid Daniel Craig’s Bond in bringing down the latest bad guy.
Rami Malek plays the film’s heavily disfigured baddie alongside the actresses mentioned above and Jeffry Wright, making for excellent new inclusions to the recurring cast which includes Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny.
Christoph Waltz and Léa Seydoux round out the stellar supporting cast.
No Time to Die will be Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond, and it’s safe to suspect that either one or both of the new double 0’s featured in the video below may take over the coveted 007 mantle in future films.
If that were to happen, it would be a significant change of pace for the franchise, which has been led by a typically suave gentleman-like character over the last few decades, with Craig being the edgiest of the bunch.
No Time to Die has been delayed multiple times but is finally due to see the light of day come November 11 in Australia.
