‘Moana’ – Full Length Trailer & New Poster

full

The full length trailer for Disney’s upcoming animated film Moana has just dropped, featuring the voices of Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho.

The trailer introduces us to the character of Maui, the demigod played by Johnson, and Moana, played by Cravalho, who together go on an adventure across oceans to find a fabled island.

This would be the first time a Disney animated films has featured the South-Pacific islands for a setting in their films, and the wide open oceans and island landscapes make for some beautiful animated scenery.

The animation looks to be on-point, as does the general overall feel and tone for a Disney film.

We also get a glimpse at some of the film’s humour, however no sign of any villain or what type of major obstacles the film’s heroes will need to overcome.

With Dwayne Johnson on board, Moana could easily rival the success of Zootopia, which earned over a billion dollars at the global box office.

Should the story hold up on this one, it could easily earn Disney another billion dollars heading in to the new year.

Moana is due out on Boxing Day, 26 December 2016 in Australia, perfect for the holiday season.

Check out the full length trailer below, as well as the new poster for the film.
