‘Jack Goes Home’ – Trailer for New Psychological Thriller

psychological

Are psychological horror-thriller films the best? Yes they are… Yes they are.

When done right, a psychological horror-thriller can be terrifying due to the fact that it can tap into your inner-fears, as opposed to supernatural or slasher horror films, which are all made to set you up for that quick jump-scare and with plots that often don’t seem plausible.

A good psychological horror-thriller will scare you intimately and make the dread build up inside over the course of the film, with a rewarding payoff at the end that could stick with you long after the film is done.

Jack Goes Home by actor/director Thomas Dekker follows the story of Jack (Rory Culkin), as he heads back to his family home after his father passes away.

It’s there that he uncovers hidden family secrets that begin to torment him.

Judging by the trailer, this film looks to be the goods with its edgy tone and excellent casting in Rory Culkin.

The film also stars up-and-comer Britt Robertson and Natasha Lyonne and is due for release on 14 October 2016 in the USA.

Check out the trailer below along with the film’s creepy poster.
