Check out the red band trailer for the film Girls Trip, a comedy about a group of friends on holiday with only one thing on their minds – partying.
This looks like it will be a bit of fun, and features the same type of crude humour seen in films like The Hangover series.
That type of adult humour generally works wonders in helping boost a film’s entertainment value as long as the writers on this one can keep it relatively original and ace the timing on the jokes.
Judging by this first red band trailer for the film, the signs are looking good.
Girls Trip stars Jada Pinkett Smith, coming off a stint on TV’s Gotham, as well as Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall.
It’s directed by Malcolm D. Lee, whose past directing credits include 2016’s Barbershop: The Next Cut, Scary Movie 5 (2013), and Undercover Brother (2002).
I’ve yet to see the latest Barbershop film, but enjoyed Scary Movie 5 and Undercover Brother, so this film should definitely be one to keep an eye out for.
It releases on 21 July 2017 in the USA, however no local release date has been revealed yet, check out the trailer below.
