‘The Girl on the Train’ – New Featurette

This great new featurette comes hot on the heels of the release of The Girl on the Train, based on the best-selling novel by Paula Hawkins.

The video features the cast and crew of the film talking about the film’s plot, as they promote the many twists and turns in the film, along with the thriller aspect of the story.

The film looks really well shot and features a great cast, so if the marketing materials for the film are to be believed, then we should be in for what could be a great psychological thriller.

The synopsis of the film courtesy of Entertainment One is as follows:

Based on Paula Hawkins’ best-selling novel, THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN stars Emily Blunt as Rachel, devastated by her recent divorce, she spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

The film features an all-star cast that includes Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Justin Theroux, Haley Bennett, Luke Evans, Lisa Kudrow, Laura Prepon, Edgar Ramirez and Allison Janney.

As of this writing, the film has received mostly mixed reviews from critics, however like with all movies, you’ll have to just see it for yourself and make up your own mind.

Judging from the below video though, it looks like it has the potential to be pretty good.

The Girl on the Train releases nationwide on 6 October.
