From Blumhouse Productions comes the awesome trailer for the new genre-bending murder-mystery film Don’t Let Go.
David Oyelowo plays a police detective whose family become the victims of a brutal murder.
Things start turning strange when his beloved niece (played by Storm Reid) call his mobile phone after she’s been killed.
He finds out that she’s calling him from two weeks in the past, alive and well, as he sets out to unravel the mystery behind the murder to prevent it from happening.
The beauty of this film is that it blends multiple genres like sci-fi, horror, thriller, drama and action all into one, with a unique story.
The film looks like it will be intense and features some excellent casting with Oyelowo and Reid in the lead roles.
Blumhouse has brought us some absolute gems over the last few years, the likes of which include Get Out (2017), Happy Death Day (2017) and Happy Death Day 2U (2019), as well as the underrated Upgrade (2018) and the highly rated BlacKkKlansman (2018).
The studio is tearing up Hollywood right now with their unique and quirky horror film projects, the majority of which are shot on a miniscule budget but bring home a significant profit.
