‘Dumbo’ Trailer is a Perfect Blend of Tim Burton and Disney Styles

tim burton dumbo movie

The first full-length trailer for Disney’s Dumbo live-action adaptation from director Tim Burton as dropped, blending the director’s and studios’ styles successfully.

When Dumbo the flying elephant is separated from his mother, two young children (Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins) will set out to reunite them.

Along the way, entrepreneurial circus promoter V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) and aerial acrobat Colette Marchant (Eva Green), will step in and try to make the elephant a star on the carnival circuit.

Dumbo is Disney’s latest live-action remake of its classic slate of animated films.

The original animation was released way back in 1941, and it appears this new adaptation will stay mostly faithful to the themes of the original while adding its own modern touches.

The new trailer showcases the Tim Burton signature style in terms of the look-and-feel of the film, as well as highlighting the classic Disney charm.

The film looks stunning, with what appears to be a heart-wrenching story of love, loss, friendship and courage.

Dumbo features an all-star cast that includes Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito and Alan Arkin alongside Michael Keaton and Eva Green.

The film is due out in cinemas on 28 March 2019.
