The new trailer for Despicable Me 3 sees Gru’s villainous brother enter the picture to try and convince Gru to re-join the life he wants to leave behind.
Steve Carell reprises his role as Gru in the film and also doubles up on voice duties with the characters brother Dru.
Dru is the more successful of the two, and it appears Gru is on his way out of the evil-villain business when Dru tries to persuaded him to get back to his old ways.
The trailer highlights that story and features plenty of colourful new footage from the film.
The third film in this highly popular series looks fantastic based on what I’ve seen so far, and it looks like it will feature classic Despicable humour along with some gorgeous animation.
And of course everyone’s favourite animated-film characters – the Minions.
Joining Carell in the film are the voice talents of Kristen Wiig, Trey Parker, Russell Brand, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Jenny Slate and Julie Andrews.
The film releases across cinemas on 15 June 2017, check out the new trailer below.
