See director James Wan and the cast of Aquaman talk about the making of the film in this new behind-the-scenes video.
The video features Wan, along with stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Patrick Wilson, amongst others, discuss their experience in making the film, and what it means to them star in such an epic production with one of the industry’s most prolific directors/producers.
We also get to see lots of footage from behind the scenes of the film, with looks at the enormous sets that were built for the film, as well as some location footage.
It’s obvious Aquaman will be a CGI-fest, however, Wan and his team have attempted to authenticate a lot of the water-based scenes by filming in giant water tanks and the like.
It all makes for some stunning imagery, some of which we’ve already seen in past trailers for the film.
Wan seems to have gone for the story-first approach based on his comments in the video, which can only help the film.
Alongside the above-mentioned actors, Aquaman co-stars Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
DC’s films have received a mixed reception so far, to say the least, and we can only hope James Wan has the goods to deliver something special and get DC back on the map in a big way.
Aquaman hits cinemas on 26 December 2018, check out the cool new video below.
