Funny Frights Return in Netflix Sequel ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ Trailer

The Babysitter: Killer Queen is the sequel to 2017’s comedy-horror Netflix hit, The Babysitter, and it promises more of the same silly horror-comedy.

Cole (Judah Lewis) is still traumatized after nearly being killed by his babysitter and her friends two years prior.

Along with the pressures of high school, Cole must face his (literal) demons once again, as his attackers return from the grave as ghosts, who attempt to finish what they started.

The 2017 Netflix horror-comedy film The Babysitter was an entertaining addition to this sub-genre of horror, so fans would be pleased to see a sequel on the way.

Killer Queen features more of the same gory fun from the first movie, as the first film’s death cult, led by the Babysitter (Australia’s Samara Weaving), comes back to try and finish the job.

The film looks like a good combination of high-school teen-movie and horror – a perfect option for tuning in and switching your brain off.

Sadly, it seems Samara Weaving is not back for the sequel (though her character does appear to be in the trailer), but the rest of the first film’s cast members, Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Hana Mae Lee, and Andrew Bachelor are back.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen hits Netflix on 10 September 2020.
