‘Baby Driver’ Featurette Looks at the Music’s Impact on the Film

Popular director Edgar Wright’s latest film Baby Driver gets a new video featurette that talks about the importance of the music in the film.

The video features interviews with the cast and crew of the film, as they go on to discuss how everything in the film is in sync to the soundtrack.

It was interesting to hear writer-director Edgar Wright mention that he wrote the film with the soundtrack in mind first, and how everything evolved from that.

From what we’ve seen so far in the marketing videos for the film, it looks like the sound production is on point here, so it should make for some uniquely entertaining viewing.

Baby Driver follows the story of Baby (Ansel Elgort), a young getaway driver who finds himself working a dangerous heist for a crime kingpin.

It’s directed by Edgar Wright and stars Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González, Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx.

Edgar Wright has become a huge fan-favourite with past films like Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007), and his new one looks like it will follow form.

Check out the new video featurette below before the film hits cinemas on 13 July 2017.
