This cool chase clip from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie showcases some of the awesome stunt work featured in the film.
The video below features a short action clip from the movie that see’s Michael Fassbender’s character chasing down some baddies in a carriage.
Obviously it doesn’t give anything away about the film, but is a nice little look at the type of action to be expected in the film.
From all that’s been revealed about the film so far on the action front, it looks like it could be spectacular.
There are lots of practical effects as well as at least one record-setting stunt in this film, and with Justin Kurzel directing, it should look amazing visually as well.
Kurzel reunites with Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, the two stars from his film Macbeth (2015) in Assassin’s Creed, which features a supporting cast that includes Brendan Gleeson, Jeremy Irons and Michael Kenneth Williams.
The Australian director is one of the leading prospects in Hollywood these days so I hope his movie does well and breaks the dreaded video-game movie curse.
From what I’ve seen so far, this film looks like it might have the goods to do so.
Check out the film when it arrives in Australian cinemas on January 1, 2017.
