Play the 8-Bit Online Video Game Tie-In for Stephen King’s ‘IT’

8-bit IT game

Fans of retro video games and of Stephen King’s IT book/movie adaptations, get prepared to waste some time with this cool 8-bit online game.

The marketing team for the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen Kings’ IT have released a tie-in game, featuring retro inspired graphics.

It’s a simple time-waster of a game, that will have you navigating a paper boat up a sewer, popping balloons along the way, whilst trying to avoid obstacles, and the evil clown Pennywise himself.

It’s not the most intriguing or complicated game (rather the opposite).

It does however have a cool art style, along with some impressive sound design.

Check out the game here!

The anticipated horror film is directed by Mama (2013) director Andy Muschietti, and stars Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Lieberher, and Finn Wolfhard to name a few.

It releases across cinemas on 7 September 2017, and if you haven’t seen the full trailer for this one yet, check it out below!

Any Stephen King/IT fans out there, let us know if you’re looking forward to this in the comments below, and check out my review of The Dark Tower, which is just one of many other King adaptations released this year.
