A new behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film was posted at the annual E3 video game expo.
The video features lead actor Michael Fassbender and director Justin Kurzel talking about the film, as well as plenty of behind-the-scenes and final film footage.
Films based on video games have always usually been terrible, however this video and the official trailer have gotten us excited at the prospect that Assassin’s Creed could potentially be the first great video game film adaptation.
It’s Kurzel’s second project with Fassbender and Marion Cotillard after Macbeth (see review here) and that team have already proven that they’re capable of producing a quality film, so our fingers are crossed that the trend will continue with Assassin’s Creed.
Check out the world trailer premier for the film from a few weeks ago here if you haven’t seen it already.
Assassin’s Creed is scheduled to be released on 26 December 2016 in Australia and we can’t wait to see it.
IMDB Synopsis:
When Callum Lynch explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, he discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society.
