A young boy visits the land of the dead in the latest trailer for Disney Pixar’s Mexican-themed animated musical film, Coco.
This new trailer focuses on the basic plot of the film, as opposed to the first trailer, which focused heavily on the film’s musical elements.
So far we know that Coco will be a tale of adventure in the musical landscape, with deep family and coming-of-age related themes, which are virtually the same elements featured in every Pixar film.
I guess if it ain’t broke then why fix it?
Coco will see the animation studio’s latest film take inspiration from Mexican culture, which would be a first for the company.
As expected, the animation in this one looks super-rich and generally stunning, so it seems Disney Pixar have chosen wisely on the setting for this film.
The film is directed by Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina; Unkrich having directed the highly successful Toy Story 3 in 2010.
It features the voice talents of Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Renée Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguia and Edward James Olmos.
Coco is due to hit cinemas on 26 December 2017, check out the new trailer below.
