Adam Sandler continues his run of Netflix Original films with his latest, Sandy Wexler, due to hit the popular streaming service on April 14.
Sandler plays Wexler, a popular talent agent that falls in love with his latest client.
It looks like the film is based in the 90’s (for some part of it at least), so expect to get a dose of nostalgia for those that grew up in that era.
The trailer gives us a good idea of what to expect from the film, but the big question is, will it be funny?
Judging by Adam Sandler’s recent run of flops, it’s unlikely, but I have a feeling the trailer isn’t giving away too much jokes-wise.
Whether you love or hate the man, you must pay him credit for coming up with some comedy classics over the years, and he’s still managing to pull in an all-star comedy cast to be featured in this film.
In Sandy Wexler, Sandler is joined by the likes of Henry Winkler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Terry Crews, Jane Seymour and Rob Schneider amongst other comedy greats, with singer/actress Jennifer Hudson playing the co-lead.
The film is directed by Steven Brill, whose directed Adam Sandler in past films such as Little Nicky (2000), Mr. Deeds (2002) and more recently, The Do-Over (2016).
That should give us a good indication of what to expect from this one, and we’ll find out when it releases exclusively on Netflix on April 14.
