Robbie plays a bank robber on the run who forges a romance with the man out to stop her in the depression era film, Dreamland.
Bounty hunter Eugene Evans (Finn Cole, of Peaky Blinders fame) falls for his bounty, the fugitive bank robber Allison Wells (Margot Robbie), as the pair form a relationship while on the run from the law in the new crime film, Dreamland.
Dreamland looks like a stylish mix of the crime, romance, drama, and thriller genres, set in a small Texas town during the Great Depression.
It was surprising to see Finn Cole, who plays Michael in the popular TV series Peaky Blinders in a lead role alongside superstar Margot Robbie.
Coming from a TV background, Cole appears to be looking to make a name for himself on the movie circuit, with his next role coming in the blockbuster, Fast & Furious 9.
His co-star, Margot Robbie, is currently on a tear in Hollywood, having recently starred in Birds of Prey (2020) and Bombshell (2020), with plenty more high profile appearances in the pipeline.
This would also make the second movie that the pair have appeared in together, after both having recently featured in 2018’s Slaughterhouse Rulez.
Robbie and Cole are joined by Travis Fimmel, Garrett Hedlund, and Kerry Condon in supporting roles.
Dreamland is set for a digital release on 17 November 2020, check out the trailer below!
