James Corden is back as the cute bunny Peter Rabbit in the upcoming sequel to 2018’s Peter Rabbit.
After his makeshift parents, played by Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson tie the knot, Peter feels abandoned.
When the couple take off for a while and leave Peter and his friends to their own volition, the famous bunny rabbit takes to the streets where he’s able to let loose his mischievous ways, make new friends and go on adventures.
While out on his own, Peter will do some soul searching and try to figure out what type of rabbit he really wants to be.
Firstly, this trailer is hilarious.
I haven’t seen the first Peter Rabbit film so can’t say for certain if this sequel follows suit on the humour front, but there are a couple of laugh-out-loud moments in this trailer as well as plenty of charm.
The film looks like a great one for kids and adults alike and features themes that both audiences can resonate with.
The titular character has been around for over 100 years now, delighting children in various formats over the decades.
James Corden reprises his role in the lead and longside himself, Byrne and Gleeson are Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, Daisy Ridley, and David Oyelowo.
Check out Peter Rabbit 2 in cinemas from 19 March 2020.
