‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ – New Poster & Gallery

A cool new image has been released for the upcoming film, Transformers: The Last Knight, directed once again by Michael Bay.

The upcoming film will be the fifth in the franchise and sees the return of Mark Wahlberg in his role as Cade Yeager from the last film, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

The first film in the series nearly ten years ago was a fresh intro into the cinematic universe for the Transformers brand.

Since then, the films have been getting progressively worse, but at the same time have appeared to be making more money with each new release.

As is the case with any big budget franchise film series, the box office return dictates whether or not a sequel (or five) are green-lit.

The way Transformers is going with Michael Bay at the helm, we’ll probably see an endless amount of these films in the future.

While the films are pretty bad overall, there is obviously a huge market for them, globally – so why not?

If people are getting enjoyment out of the films then Hollywood may as well keep delivering it to them.

At least that way, these tentpole films can return a profit, which the studios can then spend on financing better quality, lower budget films on which they will generally lose money on.

Check out the cool poster below, featuring Optimus Prime ready to do battle with some type of dragon-robot-creature hybrid.

We’ve also gathered a gallery of images from the film that have been released to date, featuring a look at some of the vehicles in the movie as well as a first look of a cute, new robot character.

The Last Knight is due for release for the American summer season in June 2017.
