Matt Reeves’ The Batman has received a new trailer and it features the most ruthless Batman depicted on the big screen.
More than a year after DC’s inaugural Fandome event and since dropping the first trailer for The Batman, the comic-book powerhouse has returned with a follow-up event and a brand new trailer for this highly anticipated film.
In the trailer, we meet a younger Batman, a more ruthless Batman, one that doesn’t take any prisoners and is not afraid to put his body on the line to get the job done.
We’re also introduced to Selena Kyle, aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), along with a closer look at Penguin (Colin Farrell) and another glimpse of The Riddler (Paul Dano).
There is also plenty of action and more of a sense of the dark theme that director Matt Reeves is going for, and it looks fantastic.
The production design is excellent, and Robert Pattinson in the lead role looks like a great fit for the Caped Crusader, who takes his vigilantism to the next level in this film.
We haven’t seen a reckless, ruthless Batman yet on film, and if anyone can bring him to life, it’s War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) director Reeves.
The trailer should get fans super-excited before the film is released on March 3rd 2022, check it out below!
