Sylvester Stallone is back as Rambo in the awesome first teaser for the 5th instalment of the popular action-film franchise, Rambo: Last Blood.
Rambo is living the quiet ranch-life when he’s forced to confront his past and exact some revenge on an as-yet-unknown new troupe of villains.
The first teaser for Last Blood doesn’t give away much of the film’s plot, but rather, we hear Rambo’s voice-over setting the stage for what is to be a violent and bloody revenge-filled affair.
A play on words of the title of Stallone’s first outing as the character in 1982’s First Blood, Rambo: Last Blood will mark the final chapter of the legendary series.
First Blood became an instant cult-classic in the action-film genre, further increasing Stallone’s star power and cementing him as a bonafide action-movie star.
Last Blood is the follow-up to 2008’s Rambo, which missed the mark in my opinion, however, if the teaser for this one is anything to go by, we should be in for a treat as the film appears to more in the vein of First Blood.
Sylvester Stallone has been keeping super-busy the last few years, with one of his latest appearances being that of his other iconic character, Rocky Balboa in 2018’s Creed II.
The film releases on 20 September 2019.
