Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon, the dynamic duo in The Spy Who Dumped Me, give us a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, and the real-life friendship between the two stars.
The film follows two best friends, Audrey and Morgan (Kunis and McKinnon), who get caught up in an action-packed international espionage adventure with hilarious outcomes.
The unassuming man or woman who gets caught up in the international spy game has been done many times before, with varied success.
It appears what director Susanna Fogel and the film’s producers are banking on in The Spy Who Dumped Me are its lead actresses.
The new featurette below highlights the authentic dynamic between Kunis and McKinnon, and how it translates to the screen.
Being friendly in real life certainly helps their portrayals, and the two charismatic stars have their strengths independently, but also seem to complement each other on-screen in their fictional roles.
Along with the humour, we can expect to see some awesome action sequences in the film, coming from stunt coordinator Gary Powell.
Powell’s past work includes the recent Bond films, as well as the Jason Bourne films, which all feature spectacular action.
Check out the video below, before the film hits cinema screens on 9 August 2018.
