‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ – Trailer

story

The first official trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars story has been released, only further fuelling the anticipation for this film.

Well that was awesome.

Star Wars is back big-time ever since The Force Awakens was released last year to massive critical and financial success, but more importantly, it pleased the fans.

Rogue One is the first movie to kick off a slate of standalone films set in the same universe, but outside of the episodic tales we’ve had so far, with the other being the recently announced Han Solo spinoff film.

Rogue One is set in the time between Episode 3 and Episode 4 and features Felicity Jones in the lead role, as her character is tasked to reveal the secret plans of the planet-killing machine, the Death Star.

The trailer captures everything we love about about the Star Wars universe, with its epic visuals, expert storytelling and intriguing characters.

It’s outstanding to see a modern-day version set in between the storylines of Episode 3 and 4, as the film looks amazing with today’s updated film-making technology.

Disney purchased the franchise from George Lucas a few years back and has hit the ground running, revitalising one of the most popular film franchises of all time, and there is really no end in sight now as to where they can go with it, with plans to release multiple new movies in the future.

And it’s all to please us, the fans.

Check out the new trailer below, along with the updated official synopsis recently released by Disney.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure.
