Rob Zombie’s ’31’ – New Character Posters

rob zombie

Four cool new character posters have been released for the new Rob Zombie horror film, 31, and as expected – there’s blood.

The four new posters are on the creative side, featuring black and white drawings with splashes of red to indicate blood of which I’m sure there will be plenty of in the film.

In 31, a group of carnival workers are kidnapped and forced to play a deadly game of ’31’, which involves having them survive 12 hours against a gang of killer clowns.

Zombie’s earlier films, House of 1000 Corpses  and The Devil’s Rejects were great, but his later ones haven’t really hit the mark.

His Halloween remake was watchable, but not very memorable and The Lords of Salem well, was barely watchable.

I’m hoping 31 will be a return to form for Zombie, although early reception of the film hasn’t been that great.

But of course, with horror as with comedy, opinions are highly subjective, so you’d need to see it for yourself.

The film stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell and Richard Brake and is scheduled to be released on 16 September 2016 in the USA and hopefully around the same time in Australia if it gets distribution here.

If anyone hasn’t seen the trailer yet, you can check it out below.

IMDB Synopsis:

Five carnival workers are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.
