Check out the new trailer and poster released today for the upcoming Keanu Reeves stylish action film, John Wick: Chapter 2.
Keanu Reeves reprises his role as the reluctant hitman John Wick, in this sequel to 2014’s self-titled film, which went on to become a cult classic.
In Chapter 2, Wick is forced to again face a group of elite assassin’s, in what appears to be a pretty generic plot (as was the case in the first film).
The thing about these movies is they’re mostly all style-over-substance, which is fine when they hit the mark.
The first John Wick film did for the most part, making for some very entertaining viewing.
Based on the new trailer below, it looks like Chapter 2 will continue the same trend, as it features some awesome action and a really cool aesthetic style and performance from Reeves.
The Wick films are essentially like a tribute to cheesy action movies of the 80’s, so any fans of those will love these.
Reeves is joined by Australian actress Ruby Rose, Ian McShane, Bridget Moynahan, Peter Stormare, Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo, Common and Lance Reddick.
It’s quite a solid cast for an action film, so this will definitely be one to look out for when it releases on 10 February 2017 in the USA.
