‘Boyka: Undisputed IV’ – Sneak Peek Clip

undisputed

B-film action superstar Scott Adkins returns as Yuri Boyka in the fourth film of the Undisputed franchise – Boyka: Undisputed IV.

Check out the awesome sneak peek video below, which features a tease of Adkins reprising his role for this film, along with some stunning martial arts fight choreography.

For those unaware, the Undisputed film series began in 2002 with Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes.

That film was about a boxing champion that lands in jail after which he is matched up with the prison’s champion and they’re forced to partake in a boxing match.

Michael Jai White took over Rhames’ role from the first film in the 2006 sequel, which saw him get transferred to a Russian prison where he was forced to face none other than Yuri Boyka, played by Scott Adkins.

The third film, Undisputed III: Redemption was all about the (you guessed it) redemption of Boyka, as he once again takes part in a Russian prison fighting tournament.

Fan favourite Scott Adkins is back for the fourth film, which gives us even more adventures of the Russian fighter.

It’s surprising that these films have managed to spawn so many sequels, but surprising in a good way.

There’s obviously a market for B-grade action films, and from a critical perspective they’re generally pretty bad, but as far as entertainment value goes, they usually have it in abundance.

Boyka: Undisputed IV is out on 17 January 2017 in the USA.
