Dan Stevens stars in this indie film about a blind man who regains his sight, only to squander his regained senses with his new thirst for the superficial.
It’s an interesting plot, and while the trailer is fairly vague as to which direction the film will go in, it does a good job in conveying the drama to be featured in the film, as well as what appears to be some thriller elements that the filmmakers are hiding.
Dan Stevens has made a name for himself in the industry after starring in the popular TV series Downton Abbey, as well as taking the lead role in the outstanding indie film The Guest (2014).
He’s currently also starring in the FX TV series Legion, which is based in the X-Men universe, and will soon be seen in Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast – a big step up career-wise.
The Ticket also stars Malin Akerman and Oliver Platt and is directed by Ido Fluk.
The film hits US theatres and on-demand services on 7 April 2017.
