Check out the first full length trailer for the upcoming WW2 action-thriller film from director Christopher Nolan, Dunkirk.
Dunkirk tells the story of the evacuation of Allied soldiers that were cut off and surrounded by German forces from the beaches of Dunkirk, France, during WW2.
The first full length trailer below doesn’t give much away, which is pretty typical for a Christopher Nolan film.
The marketing behind all of Nolan’s films tend to give away only the bare minimum, which makes the films all the more special when the time comes to watch them, as they tend to be surprising in the best possible way.
We get to see some of the characters from the film in the trailer, however it’s mostly just a visual feast that features some of the action we can expect to see.
The film stars Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, James D’Arcy and Harry Styles.
It’s a unique cast to say the least, but one that should work well under Nolan’s direction.
The film is due out on 21 July 2017 in the USA, and will be the first Christopher Nolan film since 2014’s Interstellar.
Check out the new trailer below.
