All-Star Cast Gather for New Netflix Drama-Thriller ‘The Devil All the Time’

Antonio Campos’ new Netflix drama film, The Devil All the Time, is a new drama-thriller filled with dodgy characters coping with post-war effects on the psyche.

Set in a rural American town following WWII and through to the 1960s, the film follows various bizarre and violent characters, and in the center of it all is Tom Holland’s orphan-boy Arvin Russell.

It’s hard to figure out what the film is about based on its trailer, but we can see that it looks like an intense character study with no likeable characters.

The film looks and feels grounded, which could potentially be unsettling for viewers, though is something that looks to be intentional.

The film features one of the better ensemble casts we’ve seen in recent years, and alongside Tom Holland is Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Bill Skarsgård, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Haley Bennett, Eliza Scanlen, and Mia Wasikowska, all of whom appear to be in top form.

The Devil All the Time is based on the book of the same name from author Donald Ray Pollock and arrives exclusively to Netflix on 16 September 2020.
