The Last Dance follows Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls on a run for their sixth NBA championship title during the 1997-1998 season with unprecedented behind-the-scenes access.
The new documentary series from ESPN reveals never before seen footage of the legendary 1990s Chicago Bulls squad as they make their way through the 97-98 season, chasing a sixth NBA championship.
The series will highlight the life and career of the Bulls’ star player and all-time NBA great, Michael Jordan, as well chart the journey of the Bulls team through the course of their first five championship wins.
We can see from the trailer that the filmmakers won’t be shying away from showcasing both the highs and lows experienced by the team and the clash of personalities within it.
The Last Dance features rare archival footage along with interviews from all the key players involved in this story, including Jordan’s teammates Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Steve Kerr, as well as Bulls head coach Phil Jackson.
