Popular film and television actor Joe Manganiello is set to make his first ever Australian convention appearance at the 2018 Oz Comic-Con in Melbourne.
The actor first hit the spotlight in his role as the werewolf Alcide in the hit HBO TV series True Blood.
Since then, he’s moved on to feature in several films, which include the hugely successful Magic Mike (2012-2015) series alongside Channing Tatum, Sabotage (2014), and this year’s fantasy-action film, Rampage (2018), alongside Dwayne Johnson.
Recently, the actor has also taken on the role of supervillain Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the DC Extended Universe, featuring briefly in 2017’s Justice League.
He is set to reprise his role in the Justice League sequel, as well as the upcoming Matt Reeves’ directed The Batman, and a newly announced Deathstroke standalone film.
Manganiello will be participating in panels on both days of the event, and fans will have the opportunity to get photographs and autographs, as well be part of an exclusive meet and greet with the actor.
Joining Joe Manganiello at the Melbourne Oz Comic-Con will be the talented young star of Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), Julian Dennison, amongst a bevy of other talented actors from film and TV, as well as popular comicbook artists (see the full list here).
Oz Comic-Con Melbourne will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 9th and 10th.
