The new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp has arrived, featuring its stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly team up as Ant-Man and the Wasp respectively, along with a look at the film’s villain and the awesome action set-pieces.
Ant-Man and the Wasp join forces to stop a new villain called Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), who appears to have a her own, superior Ant-Man style suit, all the while Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is trying to find the right balance between being a superhero, and father.
This new trailer reveals a bit more of the film’s storyline, while still remaining somewhat vague.
However the strongest factor in the trailer is the film’s exciting action-sequences, which look outstanding.
The powers these heroes have make for some awe-inspiring set pieces as you’ll see below.
The signature Marvel humour is in full effect here as well, which should please fans.
Joining Rudd and Lilly is an all-star cast that includes Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Peña, Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins.
The film will follow the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), so fans of the latest Avengers film should know not to expect the story referencing that film.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by Peyton Reed and is due to hit cinemas on 5 July 2018 in Australia.
