A new red band trailer for the upcoming comedy film War on Everyone has been released. The film stars Alexander Skarsgard and Michael Pena and is directed by John Michael McDonagh.
The film is about two corrupt cops seemingly out to have a bit of fun while on the job, as you’ll see in the trailer.
The pairing of the two leads is an interesting choice, however it does appear that they do have an on-screen chemistry that should suit the film well.
Alexander Skarsgard is poised to become a mainstream star after the upcoming film Legend of Tarzan is released and was fantastic in True Blood, and Michael Pena is an extremely talented and versatile actor.
The film is directed by John Michael McDonagh, whose first two films The Guard and Calvary were highly rated.
It looks like the comedy is on point (though maybe not to everyone’s tastes) in the trailer and we’ll keep our ears to the ground for it’s Australian release sometime later in the year.
IMDB Synopsis:
Two corrupt cops in New Mexico set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?
