The claymation fan-favourite Shaun the Sheep is back with some new adventures in his new film Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
In Farmageddon, Shaun the Sheep must help an intergalactic alien visitor get back to her homeland before an evil organisation can capture her.
The film is a sequel to the 2015 hit Shaun the Sheep Movie, both of which are based on the popular TV series featuring the titular character.
It comes from Aardman Animations, the studio best known for its iconic Wallace and Gromit property as well as their Chicken Run (2000) movie.
The trailer features plenty of cute creatures in the signature style of Aardman’s stop-motion animation which is something impressive to behold.
Farmageddon is full of humour and charm and should provide plenty of appeal to its young target audience.
The new alien character is also sure to sell a lot of toys.
This will be the second stop-motion animated film to release in 2019, following on from the April release of Laika’s Missing Link which starred Hugh Jackman and Zach Galifianakis.
It will be released in Germany as soon as 26 September and make its way around the world until it hits the US on 13 December 2019.
Sadly, Australia and New Zealand won’t see it until 9 January 2020.
In the meantime, check out the cool new trailer below.
