A new Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies for Pixels has just been released, though It’s not as funny as some of their previous Honest Trailers.
For anyone that’s not familiar with Honest Trailers, the team at Screen Junkies on Youtube regularly make fun of films by creating their own trailers with new voice overs, and usually point out all the terrible parts of the films they cover in a humorous fashion.
After watching the Pixels one though, I kind of feel like wanting to watch the film now even though it appears there’s nothing really going for it.
In any case, the premise is cool and the film does have a great cast in Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad and Michelle Monaghan.
Sandler hasn’t made anything really funny in ages though (The Do-Over on Netflix was worth a watch), but I still feel inclined to see anything new that he releases.
