Check out the teaser trailer for Kristen Stewart’s latest film, the haunting thriller Personal Shopper, directed by Olivier Assayas.
The teaser doesn’t give away too much, however we know from it that Stewart’s character returns to a house in Paris where her twin-brother recently died, looking for signals from him from the afterlife.
The tone set in the trailer appears to be that of a haunting, psychological thriller film, of which the filmmakers seem to have hit the mark with.
The film has already screened at various different film festivals around the world, including Cannes, where Assayas was awarded the best director prize for his efforts, and more recently here in Australia at MIFF and the Sydney Film Festival.
The film has been met with mostly positive reviews, however with Assayas winning the best director prize at Cannes for it, should be reason enough to go out and see it.
Kristen Stewart can also be seen in Woody Allen’s latest, Café Society, which releases across Australian cinemas on October 20, 2016.
No word as of yet as to a release date for Personal Shopper, though it’s likely to receive a local release date some time in 2017.
