Action movie superstar Jason Statham is back in Mechanic: Resurrection and it all looks like a bit of silly fun.
Statham has made a name for himself starring in countless (practically B-grade) action films and so he continues his run by starring in Mechanic: Resurrection, the follow up to 2011’s The Mechanic, which also starred Statham in the title role.
The first Mechanic film (which was a remake of the 1972 film starring Charles Bronson) was completely forgettable so we’re not sure why a follow-up was even made.
The drawing power of Statham must have made it possible, as there is a clear market for these types of action films and Statham is leading the charge.
In Mechanic: Resurrection, Arthur Bishop (Statham) is forced to return to the life of an assassin after his partner, played by Jessica Alba is kidnapped.
Going by the trailer, the film looks like it will be an awesome guilty-pleasure action film, which is all you can really expect.
The action looks fantastic and it was nice to see Tommy Lee Jones has a role in the film.

IMDB Synopsis
Arthur Bishop thought he had put his murderous past behind him when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life. Now he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best, make them look like accidents.
