Channing Tatum and Adam Driver lead an all-star ensemble cast in Steven Soderbergh’s latest crime-comedy film Logan Lucky.
Tatum and Driver play two brothers who attempt to pull off a big-ticket heist during a NASCAR race in North Carolina.
Fans of Steven Soderbergh’s films should definitely get something out of this, though it does of course look like it will have a wide appeal, as who doesn’t like a good comedy crime-caper?
The director has churned out multiple hits over the years, with films like Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Magic Mike (2012) and more recently the excellent TV series The Knick (2014-2015).
Not only does Lucky Logan look like it will be a highly entertaining film, it will feature an outstanding supporitng cast that includes Riley Keough, Daniel Craig, Seth MacFarlane, Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank, Katherine Waterston, and Sebastian Stan.
The comedy and action appears to be on-point in the trailer, and the director’s cool signature style is all over this film as expected.
Soderbergh has a knack for directing memorable films, and Logan Lucky looks like it will fit nicely into his repertoire.
