The final trailer for The Legend of Tarzan has been released and it’s one of the better ones released to date.
The trailer focuses on Tarzan’s battles with the jungle apes after coming back from a long period living in London.
There’s a very good chance this film could be terrible, but it does look like a great popcorn film and should definitely have a high level of entertainment value as it looks action-packed.
The Legend of Tarzan stars Alexander Skarsgard and Australia’s own Margot Robbie.
The supporting cast consists of Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Djimon Hounsou.
The cast list is fantastic and that alone could potentially warrant a viewing.
The film is directed by David Yates, who is best known for directing four of the Harry Potter films, including the last two. He’s also set to direct the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The Legend of Tarzan has a stellar cast and a reputable director, however the film looks very over the top and some of the CGI effects look a bit questionable.
That of course doesn’t mean the movie will be bad, but there’s been plenty of big budget, effects-heavy action-adventure films released in the past few years that have been terrible, so it’s hard to get too excited about this one.
Walking in with low expectations can never hurt the experience though.
The film is out in Australian cinemas on July 7.
IMDB Synopsis:
